Features
AI replies
Every sub-account can enable AI replies independently. Two modes:
- Suggest — Claude drafts a reply on every inbound message. A draft card appears above the composer in WAOS. Your team reviews, edits, and clicks Send. The reply is delivered through GoHighLevel Conversations.
- Auto-reply — Claude sends autonomously, no human in the loop. Use with strong system prompts and routing tags. Only the primary binding for each chat auto-replies.
Booking + qualification
When enabled, Claude can call your GoHighLevel APIs as tools:
- List available calendar slots and book appointments
- Update contact custom fields with structured info the customer shares
- Apply tags for routing and automations
- Create opportunities and move them through pipeline stages
Templates + the 24-hour window
If you use Meta Cloud API as your transport, WhatsApp enforces a 24-hour customer-service window. Outside of it, only approved message templatescan be sent. WAOS handles this transparently:
- The composer auto-detects when the window is open
- If closed, the composer flips to a template picker
- Templates sync from your Meta Business account automatically
- If you use QR-scan transport instead, the window does not apply
Whitelabel
Agencies on the Agency tier can run WAOS under their own brand and domain. Set a custom domain, custom product name, logo, and tagline. The GoHighLevel Conversation Provider also takes on your brand name, so end clients only see your agency's identity in their GoHighLevel.
Troubleshooting
My WhatsApp number disconnected
WhatsApp may end a Web session if the phone goes offline for over 14 days, or if it suspects automation. In WAOS, the number's status flips to PENDING_QR. Open the number page and scan the new QR.
My number was banned
Status flips to BANNED after 3 QR re-prompts within 24 hours — a strong signal WhatsApp has limited the account. Stop sending; contact WhatsApp support to appeal.
AI replies are not firing
Check the sub-account's AI settings: enabled, system prompt set, routing tag matches inbound content. Suggest mode shows drafts above the composer; Auto-reply only triggers on the primary binding.
