Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using WAOS (“the Service”, “we”, “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users, including agencies, sub-account members, and anyone you invite.

2. Description of Service

WAOS is a software-as-a-service application that bridges WhatsApp messaging with the GoHighLevel CRM platform. It is operated by the WAOS team. WAOS is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta Platforms, Inc. or by HighLevel, Inc.

3. Accounts

You may create an account by signing in with a GoHighLevel agency or sub-account you own, or via an email magic link. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for any activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:
  • Send unsolicited bulk messages, spam, or content that violates WhatsApp's policies
  • Distribute malware, phishing links, or fraudulent content
  • Violate any applicable laws including data protection (GDPR, CCPA), telecom (TCPA), or anti-spam laws
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to disrupt the Service
  • Use the Service to harass, threaten, or harm any person
Violation may result in immediate suspension. You also agree to comply with the WhatsApp Business Terms and WhatsApp Business Policy.

5. WhatsApp and Third-Party Services

WAOS connects to WhatsApp via two transports: WhatsApp Web (QR-scan automation) or Meta's Cloud API. Both are subject to Meta's policies. WAOS is not responsible for any account bans, message-delivery failures, pricing changes, or policy enforcement actions taken by Meta or by WhatsApp. You acknowledge that the WhatsApp Web transport carries an inherent risk of account suspension by WhatsApp.

6. Beta Service

WAOS is currently in beta. The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. Features may change, break, or be removed without notice. We do not guarantee uptime, accuracy, or fitness for any particular purpose during beta.

7. Fees

WAOS is free during beta. Paid plans will be announced before they take effect; you will be notified at least 30 days in advance. Meta Cloud API per-conversation fees, when applicable, are passed through directly and are billed by Meta to your own Meta Business account.

8. Your Data

We store the minimum data necessary to operate the Service: WhatsApp messages routed through WAOS, GoHighLevel OAuth tokens (encrypted), encrypted WhatsApp session data for QR-scan numbers, and user account information. Sensitive material is encrypted at rest using envelope encryption. See our Privacy Policy for details.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, attempt to harm the Service, or expose us to legal risk. Upon termination, we will delete your data within 30 days unless required to retain it by law.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WAOS AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUES, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES ARISING FROM USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM (OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER).

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. Material changes will be communicated to you via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
